Jemna was formed when the Director with over 25 years of underground and construction  experience wanted to share his knowledge of all aspects of ground support and provide a shotcrete service above and beyond what was available in the marketplace.  

 

The underground industry was introduced to him in  1999 when he was a part of the shotcreting process of the Sydney Olympic Train Tunnel, which then grew to various other world renown tunnels in Sydney and Hong Kong.  Working in the construction industry for many years previous to that and numerous mining support roles since, gave him a well rounded knowledge of ground support in various industries ie. tunneling, mining, civil and residential, a knowledge few companies or individuals have across the board.

Jemna’s ground support specialty is shotcrete placement, the pneumatic spraying of designed concrete mix.  The designer concrete mix and how it is applied is the basis of the safety guarantee and longevity of large Roads and Resource Mining Projects that allows Australiasians to work under and use for up to a century.
