As every ground support application is different, a special mix of concrete / fibrecrete or polycrete has to be designed and calculated to ensure the longevity of the ground to be supported.  This is critical especially in Tunnel and Mining applications.  The dirt you are retaining varies in numerous ways depending on the location and what the ground is made from ie how much sand / rock / silt you are supporting.  The Shotcrete mix designs are sprayed into containers solely for this purpose in numerous different ways and then tested in laboratories where the years are escalated.   Jemna works with NADA approved testing contractors services whom test samples for early strength testing, UCS, Flexural RDP’s and EFNARK beams, testing is carried out vertical and overhead to simulate a tunnel or mining environment as per the clients requirements.
